This programme will induct the student in three disciplines of management:

• The process of leading and directing an organisation or part of it through the manipulation of: human resources, financial resources, material resources and intellectual resources.
• The functions of management by measuring and adjusting the initial plan in order to reach an indented goal by: planning, organising, leading, co-ordinating and controlling.
• The tasks of management which include: strategic management, financial management, marketing management, information management and public relations management.

The qualifying learner will be capable of demonstrating detailed knowledge of:

• The management of an organisation.
• The operations of an organisation.
• Marketing and marketing communications of an organisation.
• The financial influences and finances of an organisation.
• Human resources management within an organisation.
