B.A. Van Der Linde
Mrs Van Der Linde is a transformational leader who continuously shapes the distance education environment of BMT College. She has a Master’s degree in Business Management (HRM). In January 2021, she submitted her PhD thesis titled: Towards a framework to enhance Millennials’ and Generation Xers’ well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic to the University of South Africa. Her research study is a testament to her belief in people and their ability to overcome adversity through positive emotion linked with hope, optimism, acceptance and appreciation. Mrs van der Linde is committed to the development of qualifications that are people orientated, stable in uncertain times and relevant to the future world of work.
Mr Poolman is an avid driver of organisational change towards the digital frontier. He has a Master’s degree in Business Administration and specialises in systems design and quality management. As the Vice-President of NADEOSA, his core focus at the College is to ensure that all systems and processes remains at the forefront of technological advancement while complying with CHE accreditation and DHET registration requirements. He is currently studying towards a PhD in Business Studies through UNISA with a strong focus on the need for understanding how technology impacts people on a personal and psychological level, and how to prepare individuals to maintain a work-life balance.

Mrs Auths’ career spans both the academic and corporate environments, ensuring that she understands the integral balance between the world of work and academic learning. She obtained a Master’s degree in Industrial Psychology. Her formidable leadership skills enable her to lead an exceptional and approachable academic team into a new era of e-learning. Through her impeccable analytical capabilities, she ensures the quality of programme offerings, the enhancement of student support services and academic success, that sets BMT College apart from other similar online institutions.
Mrs Turner has revolutionised the College’s financial support functions, because of her background in the financial sector. She is an avid believer of sound accounting practices with an unwavering ethical approach to every decision. She is responsible for ensuring that student fees remain affordable, flexible and in compliance with legislative requirements. Through her financial acumen and the systems she has put in place, she manages the financial resources of the College to ensure sustainability and growth.
